Elainna, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), brings a compassionate and collaborative approach to her work with clients. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Neuroscience from Loras College in Dubuque, IA, and a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University.
Before joining Thrive, Elainna worked in a variety of mental health settings, supporting adolescents facing challenges such as disordered eating, substance use, trauma, depression, and anxiety. These experiences have deepened her commitment to helping individuals heal and grow.
Elainna is passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. She understands how intimidating it can be to start therapy and strives to meet every client with warmth, empathy, and respect. Her clinical interests include trauma and crisis intervention, anxiety and depression, relationship dynamics, self-esteem, personal growth, and building healthy coping strategies.
Outside the therapy room, Elainna enjoys baking, exploring fashion and art, and spending meaningful time with her family and her cat.
