Brittani has over a decade of experience in clinical practice, policy development, and behavioral health program management. She most recently served as Mental Health Manager at Chicago Public Schools, leading district-wide strategies to promote trauma-informed, equitable care for over 320,000 students. Brittani previously directed Safe Families PLUS, a community-based mentoring program supporting youth aging out of foster care, where she specialized in trauma-responsive support for marginalized and system-involved young people. She has also provided therapy to medical students at Loyola University Chicago’s Stritch School of Medicine and has maintained a private practice focused on culturally responsive care. Her work centers around access, wellness, and systems change across public, nonprofit, and healthcare sectors. She obtained her Bachelor’s in English from Stanford University and a Master’s in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago. In her free time, you can find her at a sports event, training for her next half marathon, or being bombarded with love by her many nieces and nephews.
