Sarah received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University. Sarah also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music education from Northern Illinois University. She is certified in trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and CALM: Counseling on Access to Lethal Means. Her clinical interests are many: issues arising from depression, anxiety, trauma, complex family dynamics, identity formation, and self-esteem. Sarah also enjoys working with clients on issues and dynamics related to adoption; the worlds of artists – especially musicians; and issues involving “the world of work,” such as career changes. As a parent, professional musician, and former legal assistant, Sarah places a high value on balancing emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and physical aspects of life.
