Richard received his Master of education in human development counseling at Vanderbilt University. He works with adults dealing with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. He has experience helping others in different settings, including in-patient, out-patient, and community mental health. Richard’s approach to therapy is systems-based and existential, meaning he likes to help clients understand how they fit into the world around them and empower them to lead meaningful and rewarding lives. Through this approach, he hopes the client feels understood and seen as a whole person, not just a set of problems.
