Javier is a dedicated Social Worker with an emphasis working with adolescents, young adults, and adults. With 10+ years’ experience working in a mentor and teacher role, he has a passion for fostering personal and professional growth while connecting people to opportunities for success. He has over 14 years of experience working on men’s issues, including toxic masculinity, accountability, and positive anger expression. Javier identifies as a 1st-generation college Chicago native.

Clinical Orientation: Relational and evidence-based practices (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Restorative Justice, and Peace Circles).
