Elaine Phillips, LCPC

Elaine received her Master of Science in Community Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Theatre, with a concentration in musical theatre, from Ball State University. Her clinical interests include: trauma focused care, crisis management, and creative interventions. She treats a range of symptoms not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar, adjustment disorder and more.  Elaine utilizes various approaches for treatment believing each client is unique in what will work for them.

Some modalities she has used in practice are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Gestalt.  Elaine works with adults and couples for therapy.  She sees all ages for crisis risk assessment within Oak Park and River Forest. Her suicide prevention certifications include ASIST and SafeTalk. Elaine loves dance, but especially tap dance!
