Daisy is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who provides individual therapy and mental health services to youth, adolescent, and adult populations. Daisy received her Bachelor in Psychology and Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. She has worked with a number of adolescents, adults, and families who experience trauma, anxiety, depression, and life challenges encouraging and guiding clients to overcome individual, as well as, familial obstacles. Daisy has experience working in school-based counseling, private practice, and community-based counseling services. Daisy also has training in areas of domestic violence, trauma focused therapies, anger management, and case management services. Daisy’s therapeutic outlook uses a cognitive and person-centered approach with expressive therapies to empower clients leading them to achieve healthier mental health. Daisy believes therapeutic approaches should be a collaborative process which is customized to the needs and pace of the client. She also volunteers as a committee member for the development of a residential camp and community-based mentoring organization which once in place will provide mental health services, guidance, and encouragement to youth and adolescents in the Chicagoland area.
