Alondra received her Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champagne, where she also minored in global markets and society. She is a first-year Master of Social Work student at the Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois Chicago. Her clinical interests include: group counseling, crisis hotline, client advocacy, suicide prevention/awareness, life transitions/personal growth, trauma, and substance use. She hopes to work with refugees and undocumented communities in the future. Alondra has many certifications, including Risk-Based HIV Testing & Counseling, Anti-Retroviral Treatment & Access to Services (ARTAS), and HIV Navigation Services. When she can, Alondra loves traveling and hopes to tie it to her future career in social work.
