Kelley Rompza Kitley, LCSW
Keynote Speaker

Thrive is honored to have Kelley Rompza Kitley, LCSWKelley Kitley as our Spring Benefit’s keynote speaker. Kelley, who counsels individuals and couples in her Chicago practice, is also dedicated to the vital mission of breaking the silence and stigma of mental health and addiction. She strives to support and inspire hope in those struggling with these challenges.

Kelley’s recently published memoir, “My Self: An Autobiography of Survival,” reveals a childhood and young adulthood that included substance abuse, an eating disorder, sexual assault, postpartum anxiety and family dysfunction. At a particularly difficult time in her life, Kelley sought treatment from a community health center like Thrive.

Kelley, an accomplished women’s mental health expert and author, has appeared in over one hundred publications, podcasts, news reports, and radio programs – including WGN, NBC, The Chicago Tribune, Huffington Post, Self, Shape, Fitness Magazine, Recovery Connection, and Thrive Global. Kelley has shared her experience, strength and hope on various national media outlets. Kelley’s TEDx talk “I Show My Scars So Others Know They Can Heal” is just one of her many accomplishments.

Kelley, a native Chicagoan, lives in Oak Park with her husband, Ryan, and their four children.
